Furniture assembly and disassembly

Furniture assembly and disassembly in Barcelona with no screws left over

Wardrobes, beds, shelving and kitchens from IKEA or any other brand. We assemble what you've just bought and take apart what needs moving, with the fittings labelled piece by piece.

Also without a move involved

Almost all modern furniture is designed to be assembled once and never touched again. The trouble starts when it has to come apart: the chipboard dowels give way, the backing panel bends and the manual went missing years ago. The skill isn't in tightening screws, it's in knowing what can be taken apart without breaking it and what's better moved whole.

Advantages

Why it isn't the same as doing it yourself on a Sunday

Our own tools

Screwdriver, level, drill and bits for solid walls or plasterboard. You don't need to buy anything.

Labelled fittings

Every dismantled item gets its own numbered bag. No shared box where half a dozen parts go missing.

You pay for actual hours

A three-door wardrobe isn't the same job as a shelf unit. We bill the time it takes, with no full-day minimum.

Heavy items with two people

Sliding-door wardrobes and worktops don't lift themselves. We come as a pair when the item calls for it.

Wall anchoring

We fix tall wardrobes and shelving to the wall with the right fixing for the material. That's what prevents accidents.

Pickup and disposal

We can collect the furniture from the shop and take the cardboard and the old item to the recycling centre.

How it works

Four steps and the furniture is in place

01

You tell us what the items are

The manufacturer's reference or a photo on WhatsApp is enough to tell how long it takes and how many people are needed.

02

We send price and date

A fixed quote based on estimated hours and an available slot, usually within the next few days.

03

We assemble or dismantle

We arrive with the tools, protect the floor and work without leaving the place full of debris.

04

We adjust and tidy up

We level everything, adjust doors and drawers, anchor to the wall if needed and take the cardboard away.

FAQ

Common questions about furniture assembly

How much does it cost to assemble a piece of furniture?

The service starts at €80 per hour including the fitter and tools, billed for actual time. A shelf unit or a chest of drawers takes under an hour; a three- or four-door wardrobe can take half a day. Give us the product reference and we'll estimate the time before coming.

Can you assemble furniture without a move?

Yes, it's a standalone service. Plenty of people call us just to assemble what's arrived from the shop, with no move involved at all.

Do you work with IKEA furniture?

Yes, it's the most common, but we assemble any brand: Leroy Merlin, Conforama, Maisons du Monde or bespoke units. We just need all the parts and the instructions.

What if parts are missing or damaged?

We spot it when opening the packaging and tell you straight away. You handle the claim with the shop, since the manufacturer only deals with the buyer. We come back to finish once the part arrives, without charging the call-out again if it's within the following days.

Do you anchor wardrobes to the wall?

Yes, and we always recommend it for tall units. We use the right fixing depending on whether it's solid wall, hollow brick or plasterboard. Plasterboard has a weight limit, so if the item is very heavy we'll tell you before drilling.

Can you dismantle old furniture without breaking it?

We always try, but it's worth being honest: chipboard assembled ten years ago sometimes won't survive a second dismantling. Before we start we tell you which parts are at risk and you decide whether it's worth taking apart or moving whole.

Do you assemble complete kitchens?

We assemble the units, doors and drawers. What we don't do is connect water, gas or appliances, or cut worktops: that's the job of a certified installer.

Do you take away the cardboard and old furniture?

Yes. We remove the packaging from the new item and, if you ask, the old piece too, which goes to the recycling centre.
