Moving a shop has a difficulty other removals don't: the stock. It isn't enough to carry the fittings from one unit to another; the merchandise has to be moved without losing track of what there is, what condition it's in and where it ends up. If the inventory goes out of sync, the problem doesn't end on moving day, it drags on for weeks.

Common questions from shops and retail units
How much does it cost to move a shop in Barcelona?
The service starts at €80 per hour with van, driver and mover, but for a shop the final figure depends mainly on the stock volume and the fixed fittings that need dismantling. We do a free site visit and then send a fixed written quote.
How many days will the shop be closed?
A small neighbourhood shop is usually done in one day working overnight or on Sunday. A large unit with a storeroom and plenty of stock may need two days. At the site visit we give you the real figure and the running order.
Can you work at night or on Sundays?
Yes, it's the norm in retail. We fit the window around your opening hours and, if the unit is in a shopping centre, around the loading slots set by management.
How do you keep track of stock during the move?
We pack in batches and number each box with the product family or supplier. You keep the box list, so on arrival you can check everything is there before you start restocking.
Do you dismantle the counter and shelving?
Yes, it's part of the service. We dismantle the counter, gondolas, wall shelving and fitting rooms, keep the fittings labelled and assemble everything at the new unit to the plan you give us.
Do you move the IT equipment and POS?
We transport computers, receipt printers and card terminals packed separately and hand them over in person to the manager. Configuring and registering the equipment at the new unit is your systems provider's job.
Do I need a loading permit?
On city-centre streets with restricted hours, yes. If the unit is in a shopping centre, you usually also need to book the loading bay in advance. We'll tell you what's needed once we've reviewed the addresses.
Do you take away fittings I won't reuse?
Yes. We remove shelving, displays or counters that aren't moving and take them to the recycling centre, so you can hand back the old unit empty.
