Most breakages during a move don't happen in transit, they happen in the packing. A supermarket box that's already survived two uses gives way at the bottom, and plates wrapped in newspaper arrive scratched. That's why we sell material made specifically for removals: double-wall cardboard, film that actually grips and covers that keep mattress dust out.

Common questions about packing materials
How many boxes do I need for my flat?
As a guide, a studio usually needs 15 to 20 boxes, a two-bedroom flat 30 to 40, and a three- or four-bedroom home can take over 50. It depends heavily on clothes, books and crockery: tell us the size and what you have, and we'll give you a tighter figure.
Can I buy materials without booking the move?
Yes. Selling materials is a standalone service. Plenty of people order just boxes and film because they're moving themselves or want to pack gradually.
How long does delivery take?
Within Barcelona, usually 24 to 48 hours. If you need the materials for a specific day, give us notice and we'll set them aside.
Do you carry it up or leave it at the entrance?
We carry it up to the flat. Twenty flat-packed boxes weigh little but take up a lot of space, and hauling them up the stairs is exactly what we want to save you.
Are supermarket boxes good enough?
For light items they can do, but we don't recommend them: they're usually second-hand, they don't stack well and the bottom gives way under weight. Most breakages in a move come from that, not from the transport.
What do I need for glassware?
Boxes with cardboard dividers, clean packing paper to wrap each piece and bubble wrap for the most delicate items. Never newspaper: the ink stains light-coloured china.
Do you sell mattress covers?
Yes, in the standard 90, 135 and 150 cm sizes. It's one of the most worthwhile items: without a cover a mattress arrives covered in van dust no matter how careful everyone is.
Can I return boxes I don't use?
If you have some left unopened and unassembled, mention it on moving day and we'll discuss it. Anything already assembled and used can't be restocked, so it's better to order tight and top up if needed.
