Warehouse removals

Warehouse and storage unit removals in Barcelona without stopping your operations

We clear and relocate units, warehouses and storage rooms: pallets, steel racking, merchandise and building materials. With the inventory tracked from one address to the other.

Phased moves if needed

A warehouse can't be emptied in an afternoon. There's racking bolted to the wall, pallets heavier than they look, stock piled to the ceiling and a loading aisle that's almost never where you'd want it. That's why the move is organised in phases: first what isn't used daily, then the active stock and finally the racking, so you can keep fulfilling orders almost until the last day.

Advantages

Why a warehouse doesn't move like an office

Phased relocation

We move the dormant stock first and leave the fast-moving items for last, so order fulfilment never stops.

Pallets and bulky loads

Full pallets, reels, sacks and building materials transported with proper securing and weight distribution in the van.

Steel racking

We dismantle racks and bolted shelving, label the uprights by module and reassemble them at the new site.

Right-sized crew

We size the crew to the real volume. A large warehouse with two people turns into a three-day job.

Consolidated trips

We plan routes to make as few trips as possible: fewer billed hours and less congestion at the loading bay.

Clearing and handover

We remove what isn't moving and take disposable items to the recycling centre, so you hand the unit back empty.

What's included

Everything the service covers

Volume decides everything. After seeing the unit we adjust crew, trips and materials to the real inventory.

Site visit and volume assessment

Free of charge. We check stacking height, racking type and loading-bay access at both addresses.

Phased moving plan

With an agreed order of departure, so the fastest-moving stock is the last to go.

Loading of pallets and heavy items

With a pallet truck where the bay allows it, and by hand when there's no other option.

Racking dismantling and assembly

Steel racks and bolted shelving, with uprights labelled by module so they go back up the same way.

Film, strapping and load protection

Pallet wrapping and securing in the vehicle, included in the service.

Unloading and placement by area

Each batch goes where it belongs in the new unit, not piled up by the door.

Final clearing and disposal

Broken pallets, expired stock or unusable racking taken to the recycling centre, so the unit is handed over clean.

FAQ

Common questions about warehouse moves

How much does it cost to clear or move a warehouse?

The service starts at €80 per hour with van, driver and mover, but for a warehouse the figure depends on the volume, the number of trips and whether there's racking to dismantle. We do a free site visit and then send a fixed written quote.

Do I have to close the warehouse during the move?

Not necessarily. If the volume allows, we move in phases: the items that don't move daily go first and the active stock stays until the end. That way you keep fulfilling orders almost to the last day.

Do you dismantle steel racking?

Yes. We dismantle racks and bolted shelving, label the uprights and beams by module and reassemble them at the new unit in the same configuration. If the structure requires an assembly certificate, that has to be signed off by a specialist engineer.

Do you move full pallets?

Yes, as long as the bay or access allows a pallet truck at both addresses. Without a loading bay the pallet has to be broken down and loaded by hand, which adds time: that's why we check it during the site visit.

How many trips are needed?

It depends on the volume and the distance between the two units. During the visit we work out how many trips are needed and plan routes to keep them to a minimum, because every extra journey means extra billed hours.

Do you take away what's no longer usable?

Yes. We remove broken pallets, unusable racking and disposable material and take it to the recycling centre. It's the only way to hand the old unit back empty and avoid disputes with the landlord.

Do you work in industrial estates outside Barcelona?

Yes. Beyond the city we cover the metropolitan industrial estates (Zona Franca, L'Hospitalet, Badalona, Sant Boi, Cornellà) and handle moves to units in other provinces.

How far in advance should I book?

For a warehouse it's best to give two or three weeks' notice, since crew, vehicle and phases all need organising. If the date falls at month-end or quarter-end, confirm it earlier.
